The instructions say that it is recommended not to use it if you have cuts on your skin. I would agree with that. I have thick calluses on my feet and I feel fine with it.

Awesome product

It works really well. I don't have to go for pedicures all the time. I can do it myself at home and it smooths out rough skin. It's very affordable and comes with a couple interchangeable tips, which is nice.
